Sometimes Laura impersonates mythological creatures in her dreams, and their majestic symbolism takes protagonism in her compositions.
The chimerical creature in the painting is an allegory for the complicated and almost unbelievable future that awaits us. It is unstable, dangerous, and will be a difficult ride for humanity.

Meet the Artist
Barcelona, SpainLaura Erviti (Barcelona,1990) is a contemporary surrealist painter and environmental artivist. She is currently represented long term by Artevistas Gallery, in the heart of Barcelona (Born and Gotic).
Having studied in Barcelona, Berlin and London, she focuses her creative practice on painting canvas and murals that absorb CO2. Sensations and emotions unfold organically in her compositions, blending dreams, environmentalism, and activism.
