'A place to be yourself' Ipswich Wild Walls - Mural Festival

We were fortunate enough to work with Wild walls festival. Creating 1 of 4 of large murals as part of the first of its kind for Ipswich. Before painting we created workshops for young people aged 11-30 to help design our mural. Taking inspiration from our workshops, our piece for Ipswich has multiple layers and inspirations. Brought together through workshops with local young people. It shows the skyline, Digby the Octopus, the ‘I’ of Ipswich and the Suffolk flower, the Oxlip. All are visuals that represent the town. The butterfly, eyes and the hands meanwhile add a bit of humanity to the piece. Themselves all representing Ipswich’s young people.
