Work Is Hell Grave Digger by Dr.Fugazi in Melbourne

Dr.fugazi is a Melbourne-based artist with an expertise for crafting clean, scalable vector artworks and illustrations in the stylings of classic “rubber-hose” animators and artists of the past. Merging these retro elements with a more contemporary mindset, his pieces ooze with colourful bursts of psychedelica, overwhelming vibrancy and an off-kilter, underlining darkness that lingers in the viewer. His Work Is Hell series serves as a testament to his growth as an artist, with the imagery becoming cleaner and more clear cut as the entries progress and a codified language emerges. Striking a fine balance between aesthetics and themes, these dark undertones are handled with care lest they fall into the realm of contrivance and the manufactured. Working with toy makers, clothing brands and even wine makers - you too could hire Dr.Fugazi for your business or project today!
