Under the moonlight

Acrylic on black canvas Painted in 2020 Under the moonlight was an inspiration from a started piece in 2015 and called me to get it done during a full moon. I had a dream that the moon was lending me its glow light to finish the face of this painting. As I woke up at 2 AM I saw there was actually a full moon and walked down to my studio to finish it. I went back the next morning and I was very happy with the finished piece. I journaled then about what it had to say, we hold so much potential in us to be gifted to the world. She emerges from the waves and faces at the full moon realizing what resides in her too.
