Sanctuary by Nitesh in London

An original pen-and-ink drawing sketched entirely on-site at a historic cemetery in London, Ontario. This live observational piece captures the raw, immediate atmosphere of the grounds, balancing the rigid lines of the stone monument and chain-link fence with the organic textures of the surrounding trees and grass. Utilizing rapid, deliberate cross-hatching and fine-liner ink work, it stands as a testament to traditional draftsmanship and the art of capturing a specific moment in the field.
