As an artist I have been dreaming of showcasing the (sometimes abstract) beauty of unpopular creatures 🌿 Synonymous with a displeased scrunch of the nose, I hope to challenge the undeserved, preconceived views of these species. I begin with the opportunistic predator, nature's clean-up crew, an old world vulture.
While he doesn't need to justify his admirable existence, we can look past his villainous, lingering glare and appreciate a brilliantly intelligent charm. Unapologetically efficient in his quest for meat, he is biologically crucial for disease control, and maintains a near-nude neck plumage for the sake of cleanliness 🍽 He is also a surprising romantic, one of few monogamous species that mate for life.
There is just so much to admire and I hope to show this to the world - replacing some negativity with even a little magic and appreciation ✨ If you came seeing a villain, I hope you leave admiring a hero.
Also… a group of vultures at flight? A kettle. Resting vultures? A committee. What is not to love about these fascinating souls!

Warwick, AustraliaI am a pet and wildlife portrait artist, using realism to capture the forgotten, and unappreciated beauty of our world.
I am an animal advocate & devoted mum to my four horses and two dogs. I grew up surrounded by pets of every shape and size - horses, dogs, cats, fish, rats, hermit crabs, silkworms, rescued pets and wildlife . . . This naturally fuelled my unconditional love of the animal kingdom.
Combining this with my passion for the arts, I love to create soulful, realistic animal portraits. So distinctly full of empathy - timeless, & emotionally powerful tributes to our under-appreciated Mother Nature.
I am (exhaustingly) empathic in nature, and tend to absorb the hearts & emotions of everything and everyone around me, no matter how heavy. But, this lets me capture the personality & essence of my subject within my art, bringing my artwork to life.
My aim with every piece is to make this personality shine, and be revered by every viewer & collector it interacts with throughout its life. My two artistic loves -
- Bringing a beloved lost pet back to life with a custom portrait from your photos. I can bring multiple personalities together from multiple photos, reuniting bonded animals.
- Creating wildlife portraits of underappreciated species and showcase its beauty masked by its hostility for survival, or a face that more than just a mother could love!
