Adventurous mouse by Chamomile_creates in Edmonton

Inspired by the birdhouse outside my house, I often like to imagine what it would be like to be very very small, the world would be so big and terrifying and whimsical. It was there that the adventurous mouse was born, the cat inspired by the strays that wander here from time to time. I wanted a dark and ominous setting so I used cool colour's, but to bring your attention back to our tiny adventurer I used warm colour's for his clothes, and the bright little lantern he's carrying. I am starting to realize that I use a lot of dramatic lighting in my work. It makes it feel almost cinematic ! The sketch was done traditionally and the rendering in medibang paint.
