The graffiti created by James on the inside of our garage door is amazing. We are very happy and the final result exceeded our expectations. It is quirky and humorous and vibrant. James was very patient when we asked for modifications in the original design and very thoughtful in offering suggestions, changes and improvements. James was very punctual and left everything spotlessly clean we couldn't recommend him more highly. If I were to post a photo of our garage door now, everyone would want something similar.

James created a fantastic shed mural on my Airbnb farmstay property. It is a real talking point for my guests and very popular for photo opportunities.

About
I create murals, illustrations, concept art you name it! I enjoy creating expressive characters placed in absurd circumstances. I celebrate underdogs, problems solvers, ugly ducklings, fish out of water, and the just plain unlucky. I have worked with schools, libraries, universities, local councils, private clients and more! I am based on northern NSW and available to travel for jobs in regional areas including Tamworth, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Grafton and beyond! I laugh at my own jokes. Sometimes I tell them to other people, more often I make them into art. I spent years working as a scientist, quantifying the world through an objective lens, now as an artist I relish in exploring the fantastical through a subjective (mostly silly) lens.

I like jobs that have a sense of fun and playfulness. Whether the client has a strong idea of what they want, or whether I get to have full creative control, I like art that doesn't take itself too seriously and is willing to push conceptual and thematic boundaries.
