Nicole was commissioned to create two Felted miniature Japanese Spitz Dogs using my dogs hair, as a gift for my mother. Almost a week after receiving the gift my mother is STILL raving about the accuracy of the dog, the facial expression, body shape (the ears, ruff, tail, tongue, eyes, round snout), just wonderful! Nicole was so communicative, prompt to reply, extremely well-priced priced, had the job completed earlier than the agreed deadline, and made sure I was kept up-to-date with progress and pictures. Nicole also went out of her way to meet me which was very generous. I would recommend Nicole to everyone. This is a fantastic idea if you have a pet you want to have something of when they pass, while they are living etc. Even Bear likes his replica so much we have to buy a special case to keep it safe haha! 10000 gold stars to you Nicole. 5 is not enough!

Reached out asking for a painting of a few photos of me and my girlfriend as a Christmas gift for her. Nicole completed my painting on schedule whilst doing an amazing job. Really happy with the finished product bringing my vision to life. I know my girlfriend will love it too. Glad to work with Nicole on a piece that's so meaningful to me.

I have this painting hanging above my desk. I am a science enthusiast that love the colour of the galaxy in the background and the light effects on the planets in the foreground. I was completed in a timely manner as a thank you gift for me. She asked what I would like as a gift. I said something sciencey like a galaxy or something spacey.

About
I'm an artist based in South Auckland, though I can also be found at Waihi Beach. My art is inspired by the beauty of Nature in all it's forms. I usually work with acrylic and canvas, though I also have experience painting wall mural on people's bedroom walls, as well as making felted animals from wool and fur. I generally create landscapes, pet portraits, animal portraits and I love experimenting with different colours and creative techniques. Art, for me, is not simply creating a pretty picture, but creating an emotion or memory in the viewer. If you can look at my art work and can be taken back to a memory, feel an unexpected emotion rise up, or even find yourself going on a journey into the painting, I know I have done my job well.
