I’m a Singapore-based independent illustrator and designer with over a decade of experience creating emotionally resonant art across both commercial and personal projects. My work spans digital and traditional media, including intricate enamel pin designs, character illustration, and artworks inspired emotions evoked from games, music, and personal storytelling. I specialize in illustration that carries feeling, whether through character expressions and poses, soft atmospheric palettes, or meaningful symbolism in the context of the story I'm inspired by. From expressing fiery passion of hopes and dreams to the somber quietude of a fatigued soul, the joys of everyday mundanity and the fragility of how those moments can slip away, I use art as a tool to externalise these emotions. Much of my recent work in 2025 is rooted in personal themes of grief, memory, and emotional connection due to a personal loss I encountered, and I’m drawn to creating art that captures the essence of emotions behind the subject of the artwork. I’ve had 10 years of experience as an illustrator, 5 years of experience as a merchandise designer, worked with clients and collaborators across book illustration, character designer, zines and social media content, and I’m especially experienced in bringing ideas to life with sensitivity, clarity, and artistic depth. Tools I work with include Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, and for traditional media, I work with oil pastels, oil painting, and ink. I'm open to commissions, collaborative projects, and work that values storytelling, sincerity, and craftsmanship.
