I’m Tolu Umar, a Lagos-based illustrator, storyteller, and designer. My work fuses character design, comics, and visual storytelling to create art that feels alive, detailed pieces layered with meaning and emotion. I’ve illustrated for Sporting Lagos, crafting dynamic comic pages that captured the heartbeat of Nigerian football culture. Through my creative platform, I’ve also designed exclusive art for streetwear brands and storybooks, building visuals that bridge fashion and narrative. Currently, I’m developing an original comic series that merges fantasy, culture, and worldbuilding into one immersive universe.
