​Hi, I’m Stacey! I am an award-winning Australian artist with a passion for bringing everyday spaces to life through vibrant public art, large-scale street chalk activations, and expressive studio portraiture. My work combines technical realism with storytelling, atmosphere, and meaningful audience engagement. ​For me, art goes beyond the surface of a pretty picture. Whether I’m painting an indoor mural featuring bold, native Australian flora and fauna, or executing a fleeting, immersive street chalk installation, my goal is to create moments of wonder and connection to place. I love creating interactive public works that invite curiosity, spark conversations, and transform ordinary walls into community landmarks. ​Taking on a limited number of commissions each year, I love collaborating with clients to turn their unique ideas into impactful visual realities. Chalk art activations - but the surface needs to be suitable and the lead-in time sufficient to allow site visits and concept designs. Chalk art is temporary so usually best suited for events and festivals. Not permanent installations. On average a chalk install of 2m x 1.5m takes around 8 hours. Portraits - but I only take on a limited amount per year and it is dependent on available photographs and/or live sitting. Not all portraiture requests can be fulfilled.
