My name is Alexander, I am a abstract expressionist street style portrait painter. I graduated with a bachelors degree in industrial product design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. My mediums are acrylics, pens, fake flowers, wood, metal, and spray paints. I create because it makes me feel free and at Peace, it is my passion to inspire others. My process: beginning with the background I using three to four colors that complement each other. From there, I add textures into the paint before it drys. Next I add the portrait in a way the background texture compliments the facial features and colors used. As I paint the portrait, I choose a focal point and build the paint to relay dimension. I also use color shift, 3-D elements, and glow in the dark paint so that painting is never the same depending on the angle and light, forcing viewer to move around my work.
