The Motherload

This mural was the product of a KY Grant I recieved from the Kentucky Foundation for Women, called the AMA which is the art meets activism grant. I recieved $1500 to paint a mural that provoked conversation about a feminism topic of choice, I chose matricentric feminist and the overwhelming of modern motherhood and the lack of village. The bottom white portion of the mural was painted a community effort and the rest I painted independently.
