Stork by Kseniya Revzin in Winnipeg

Stork

This ink and digital piece is part of a series created for my solo exhibition at the Ilana Goor Museum, where I had the joy of working for almost eight years as a guide and workshop artist. It shows one of my favorite sculptures from the museum courtyard—a towering stork, mid-stride, holding a fish in its beak. I sketched the scene on location in pen, capturing the familiar lines of the architecture and palm trees, then brought the bird to life with digital color. It’s a playful moment, but also deeply personal—a nod to a place that shaped me as an artist. This series is my way of honoring the space, the art, and all the little corners I got to know so well over the years.
