Manchester, United KingdomI am a self-taught freelance artist based near Manchester, in the UK. I've been working as an artist - either full- or part-time - for over 30 years, and have painted hundreds of commissions, portraits and pet portraits over the years.
I specialise in oil paintings of people and horses, but also love to use pastels, spray paints, pencils, acrylic markers or various combinations of those. Although I'm currently enjoying painting people, previous work has centred around seascapes, abstracts and wildlife. When I first started out as a professional artist, I focused on pet portraits, so I have experience with many different subjects.
The only thing I don't enjoy painting is buildings - straight lines are not my forte! I avoid such commissions at all costs!
