Rose
'Rose' was painted live at the RHS Tatton Flower Show in 2024, as part of a collaboration with my friend, Nadine Mansfield, who is a landscape designer. I set up my easel in her show garden, and the weather was so gorgeous that I got sunburnt! Rose is a tribute to Nadine's close friend who had passed away earlier that year, and her theme of the roses climbing up her head ties in with the theme of Nadine's show garden.

I specialise in oil paintings of people and horses, but also love to use pastels, spray paints, pencils, acrylic markers or various combinations of those. Although I'm currently enjoying painting people, previous work has centred around seascapes, abstracts and wildlife. When I first started out as a professional artist, I focused on pet portraits, so I have experience with many different subjects.
The only thing I don't enjoy painting is buildings - straight lines are not my forte! I avoid such commissions at all costs!
