Raven Tymchuk Halfe's Graduation
This piece was made because I didn't want to pay for my graduation photos, $500 dollars didn't seem like a good price for a few photos so I decided to paint my own. I painted in acrylic. There's not much to say about this painting other then the fact that I was 17 years old when I painted it and I had graduated in 2023. It's my favorite, I don't like to take photos of myself very often so this is the only picture I like to show off of my face.

Edmonton, CanadaHi there! I am an Edmonton-based indigenous artist. That works with a variety of mediums and styles. From abstracts to semi realistic, there's not very many styles that I can’t do. Creating and expressing my emotions onto a canvas have been my outlet for me to express myself. And since I was a child I knew I found the thing I was going to do for the rest of my life. Making paintings for myself to enjoy as well as making art for others is my passion. And I want to make your ideas come to life. And whatever that is I’m very confident in my abilities for that to happen.
