Port Pirie Legend by Sam Brooks in Adelaide

This piece was created using classical techniques mixed with modern materials, the brief was to capture a local legend 'Dez Parker' in paint - and highlight his contribution to the community. I used a stained glass inspired design to draw attention to his great selflessness and tireless contribution to the town, depicting him as a hero, to much the same effect as the stained glass pieces of England.
