Olladas o Mar by Beis331 in Melbourne

“Olladas ao Mar” is a series of 7 coastal murals created along Monteferro, Nigrán, an area I have been visiting since childhood and feel deeply connected to. The project features blue-toned female portraits inspired by the sea, designed to connect each wall with the surrounding coastal landscape while bringing new life to deteriorated surfaces. Each mural is also linked through a QR code system, allowing viewers to access the route online and follow the works via an interactive map, creating a walking experience that connects all the pieces. Through this series, I aimed to create a visual thread between art, place, and community, transforming everyday walls into a route that invites people to experience the area in a different way.
