Bowie, United StatesHello! My name is MacKenzie Butler, but I usually go by Kenzie. I am a 25 year old artist and DMV native currently living in Maryland. I have been studying painting and drawing 8+ years. I completed an oil painting intensive study program at Maryland Institute College of Art in 2017, and I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2022. My passion is for painting portraiture, but I am highly skilled in multiple other subjects including nature & landscapes, animals & wildlife, and florals. I have a deep appreciation for bright and rich color palettes, and spent considerable time during college studying color theory application. I am versatile in a wide array of media, including but not limited to: oil paint, acrylic paint, spray paint, graphite, pastels, chalk, and tattooing!
