Natalie Will is an artist from Robertson, in the Southern Highlands, NSW. While she as always been artistic, moving to the Southern Highlands in 2022 inspired her to join The Bowral District Art Society and concentrate on painting and developing her own unique style. Natalie has since gone on to be exhibited in the Best of City and Country Prize, Blue Square Prize, John Copes Watercolour Prize, The Waterbrooke Landscape Prize and The Agency Still Life Prize. Natalie has held solo exhibitions in regional NSW, and Sydney and Canberra. She has collaborated with artists Rosie Deacon, Lousia De Haas and Lilly Cummins to produce several commissioned pieces for the Ngununggula Art Gallery. She is an active member of The Pop Up Project, an artist collective that helps to promote and create opportunities for artists to present their works to the public. Natalie’s works are held in private collections in Australia and overseas.
Natalie’s work is primarily about capturing emotional connections through relationships with those close to her and a shared love of the Australian landscape. Her bold colour palette and abstracted style are her way of sharing her emotional experience when reflecting upon those memories. Natalie also has a love of the surreal and the animal kingdom and let’s her imagination run free in order to bring life to her animal characters.
