Meet the Artist
Denver, United StatesHi, I'm Jae 😄 I'm a transgender artist who loves cartoons and Star Trek 🖖 I studied animation in college and have experience with large-scale painting, drawing comics, designing mascots & book covers, and more.
I'm currently based in Denver and looking to do more mural projects. I've been designing and painting murals since I was a teenager, at first volunteering at schools in my home town. I don't have a large, recent portfolio for murals specifically--but I guarantee my skills in designing and painting murals is one that I spent years to gain.
My primary styles can be described as either cartoony or geometric, and I usually work with vibrant colors. I enjoy playing with abstract ideas and shapes, just as much as I like to take existing or original cartoon characters and translate them to a wall. I like to work with flat color and shading, but can be flexible based on the desired design and effect.
