"Roots" by Obscure Nonspecifics in Snoqualmie

This piece was inspired by the concept of growth for me. I was inspired by trees, their growth lines, the amount of times they have grown beyond their skins, cracking, breaking, continuing to grow, and how similar human beings can be. The rings represent the years of growth, and broken as we may feel throughout our individual and collective growth, our roots hold us together, sometimes in imperceptible ways, until viewed in a certain light.
